Nicholas Duval-Smith is a Motueka -based artist who trained at the Otago Polytechnic School of Fine Arts from 1988 – 1990, majoring in sculpture; and again in 2005 – 2006, majoring in jewellery.
Duval-Smith’s practice is centred around small works in bronze, usually cast from Oamaru stone originals, that play with scale and invite the viewer’s imagination and interaction.
